Planned Giving at Fountain House
Any gift to Fountain House that requires planning on the part of the donor. Planned Gifts may be deferred, which means that Fountain House will receive the economic benefit some time the future (after someone's life or after a term of years.) Planned Gifts may also be "now" gifts which benefit Fountain House immediately, while possibly providing income to the donor during his/her lifetime.
Your interest in making a planned gift to Fountain House is a personal matter. Please be assured that all inquiries are strictly confidential.
BEQUESTS
Should you wish to make a provision for Fountain House in your Will, you may use this sample legal language for a general bequest.
"I give and bequeath [ _____ dollars] [a specific asset] or [ _____ percent of my residuary estate] to Fountain House, Inc., a not-for-profit organization with its headquarters at 425 West 47th Street, New York, NY for its general purposes."
HERITAGE SOCIETY
The Heritage Society is a special circle of friends who have made a commitment to support the work of Fountain House beyond their lifetimes. Their especially meaningful contributions reflect their deeply held belief that people with mental illness deserve the very best care and enrichment that society is able to provide – a standard that government funding alone cannot provide. We applaud their commitment to ensure a stable and bright future for Fountain House and its members.

1. Possible reduction or elimination of estate and inheritance taxes.
